IF alternative music is more your bag than hearts and roses, Shenanigans is hosting a Bridgwater live music bash on Valentine’s night (Friday).

The music promoters, in association with PA Solomon Sound, present The Return of The Breakdown metal night for Bridgwater with four bands fixed to perform.

Featuring is Bridgwater’s-own, In My Vanity, a post-hardcore band who recently emerged on the gigging circuit after forming more than a year ago.

Plus Napier, an alt-rock group from the town – you can check out videos of their live performances on their Facebook page by searching ‘Napier band’.

Perdisian, a death metal band from Yeovil, take their lead from groups such as The Black Dahlia Murder, Carnifex, All Shall Perish and As I Lay Dying.

The group recently completed ‘Anatomy’, their debut six-track demo, with Jonny renshaw of Bandit Studios.

Street metalcore group, Awaken The Silence, are influenced by Rise Of An Empire, Failure To Follow, Becoming Rome and Kill The Conversation.
