THE lives of North Somerset people at work and play from the 1860s to the 1960s are being celebrated at the latest exhibition in Weston-super-Mare.

‘Face to Face: North Somerset People in Photographs’ opens on Saturday and draws on the rich legacy of photographs taken in and near Weston by both professional and amateur photographers.

The exhibition at Weston-super-Mare Museum runs until Sunday, April 27, and admission is free.
