THE Mad Dogs return for a raucous music mash of Gypsy-jazz, rock and bluegrass on Friday.

Live show masters Mad Dog Mcrea arrive at Burtle village hall ahead of their newest record release, featuring their best-loved live hits.

The year has proved typically hectic and fun-packed for the group, who played three times at Glastonbury this summer, gracing the Avalon Stage, and have been on the road throughout November on their ‘Away with the Fairies’ tour, before gearing up to get back on the festival circuit in 2014.

Mad Dog Mcrea were named Best Live Act in last year’s South West Music Awards and their album, ‘The Whirling Dervish’, was crowned Best Album of the Year.

The hyper-charged musicians are used to causing a stir wherever they lay their hats so you can expect a fun night.

The doors open at 7.30pm – visit maddogmcrea.co.uk to book £10 tickets.
