THOUSANDS of people will be making their way to North Newton on Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, for the 22nd Newt Fest.

Famous for its wide range of real ales and great music, the festival line-up includes Total Jam, The Cley Hill Stompers, Hot Dub Bikini Party, Bleedin Noses and Area 57.

Headliners on Saturday are Newt favourites the fantastic Gee Baby I Love You, a genuine soul, raw funk and blues band with professional and exhilarating showmanship.

Many of the beers and ciders on offer have been sourced from small South-West brewers with old favourites mixed in with a few new brews to tantalise the tastebuds.

The popular yard of ale competition makes a welcome return and there will be a cider marquee.

Day tickets cost between £20 and £25, and a weekend ticket costs £40. Camping on site costs £10/£7 per person.

To book, visit www.newtbeerfest. com or call Frank Clegg on 01278- 663059 or 07760-367368.
