Driving beats and delicate basslines at Clavelshay Barn, North Petherton

Bridgwater Mercury: BARE Bones. BARE Bones.

ACOUSTIC music fans from Somerset are invited to see a new trio perform during a free showcase event at a local restaurant next month.

Bridgwater-based band Bare Bones will play a variety of classic and modern cover tracks at Clavelshay Barn on Monday, July 1, starting at 7.30pm.

The band’s sound features delicate basslines and harmonies which fuse effortlessly with drummer Kevin Horner’s driving beats.

Andy (guitar and vocals) said: “We hope lots of people come along to check out our music. We have been working hard to perfect our sound and have come up with a great set-list.”

Sue Milverton, co-owner at Clavelshay Barn in North Petherton, said the band is very talented, adding: “It is the perfect opportunity for people to find some fresh new talent to play at any upcocoming occassions they might be organising."
