RELIVE the days of Beatlemania with a tribute to the ’60s pop legends at Blake Hall, Bridgwater, this Saturday (June 1).
The Beatles Alive recreate the group’s performances using original equipment, from Rickenbacker and Hofner guitars, to Vox amplifiers and Ludwig drums.
Starting with classic early Beatles material, the gig will trace the band’s musical journey to international fame.
The whole of The Beatles live performance career is covered from 1962 to 1969, in a fast, energetic and vibrant show.
The band do not use any backing tracks, click tracks or sequencers in their performances, only the amps and guitars used by The Beatles during their live shows - the closest you can get to hearing just what it was like during the Beatlemania years.
The doors open at 7pm and tickets costing £2.50 are available from Strings ’n’ Things, Blake Hall, Castle Club, Bridgwater, or call 07723-377500.
