THERE will be loads of chances to dance when three-piece indie band Bridges play some solid indie rock ’n’ roll at the Bridgwater Arts Centre.

The band, who will be supported by two other groups on the night, only formed nine months ago but have already played dozens of gigs in the South West and have even been picked to perform at Beach Break Live in June.

Based in Bridgwater, the musical trio are now gearing up for their eight-day tour which finishes with their homecoming gig at the arts centre on April 5.

Their sound is rife with excellently executed linear grooves, bellowing vocal harmonies and wonderful bass counter-melodies.

BBC Introducing Bristol said they are “bright and tight – they make an excellent noise.”

Bristol-based support acts include alternative pop band South Divide and talented youngsters Jackal Party who are currently making their sound heard on the UK festival circuit and small venue scene.
