MAD Dog Mcrea who play a blend of folk, pop, gypsy jazz and bluegrass.
JOIN Zummerset’s charttopping Wurzels plus support acts Mad Dog Mcrea and The Skimmity Hitchers for some West Country music at The Palace in Bridgwater.
The bands promise some top class cider-swilling Scrumpy and Western with humorous lyrics and saucy banter when they perform on Thursday, March 28.
The Wurzels will play their jolly tune Combine Harvester, which captured the nation’s imagination, selling nearly 400,000 copies in the UK.
And six-piece band Mad Dog Mcrea will blend a unique mixture of folk, rock, pop, gypsy jazz and luegrass, playing a range of self penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life to traditional anecdotes bout fairies, legless pirates, lackflies and wise old jungle bears.
The Skimity Hitchers are described as a band of brothers, blaggers and badgers who add a modern edge to old-fashioned West Country tunes.
Tickets cost £12.50 when bought in advance – for full details visit the website at www.midnightmango.co.uk
