ACE Jazz musicians Paul Vernon Chester and Nick Mellor will play their vast repertoire of fast-fingered, hot club gypsy Jazz at Cossington Village Hall on Saturday, March 9.

Playing under the title of DUETS for DJANGO, these two fine musicians will enrapture their audience with many jazz classics.

Paul’s open-hearted and high-octane playing is complemented by his cousin and long time accompanist, Nick Mellor, a guitarist with a superb sense of rhythm.

Together, they deliver both driving attacks on up-tempo works and subtle interpretations of more relaxed arrangements. It promises to be a memorable evening.

Reserved seats at tables cost £10 (which includes tasty interval treats) and are available from host Roger Collett on 01278-451187.

The evening commences at 8pm (doors and fully licensed bar from 7pm). A donation from the evening and a collection after the performance will be on behalf of Bridgwater Hospital League of Friends.
