A NEW team at the The Cossington Concert Trust is bringing back the Cossington Young Musicians’ Fund to help young musicians and is marking the re-launch with a showcase concert on March 15.
Trust chairman Stephen Bell said: “I am very honoured to have been asked to take on the role of chairman and look forward to continuing the good work of my predecessors, David Goode and Julie Anne Sadie.”
Three outstanding young musicians who have benefited from the fund are cellist Joseph Pritchard, bassoon player Mollie Brown and Kirsty Chaplin, who plays harp and piano.
All three will perform at Cossington village hall on March 15.
Tickets cost £10. Call Marian Curry on 01278-683777. Free tickets are available for students under 19.
