STUDENTS at Bridgwater College Drama Academy are busy putting the final touches to their production of Shakespeare’s timeless classic, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Different worlds collide in this production about star-crossed lovers, to be staged at the town’s arts centre on Thursday, February 21, at 7.30pm.
The play features three interlocking plots, connected by a celebration of the wedding of Duke Theseus of Athens and the Amazon queen, Hippolyta, which is set simultaneously in the woodland and in the realm of Fairyland, under the light of the moon.
Bridgwater Academy is a dynamic theatre company open to all students of Bridgwater College. Creating theatre to a professional standard, they also offer workshops in schools and colleges.
Tickets cost between £6-£8 – for more details visit bridgwaterartscentre.co.uk
