SOMERSET Crafts is hosting a starling exhibition until Sunday, January 27. The work on display captures the birds wheeling through the sky making spectacular patterns against the setting sun as they come to roost on the Somerset Levels.
Wildlife photographer Anne Henderson’s latest collection of framed and mounted prints will be on show at the Avalon Marshes Centre, Shapwick Road, Westhay.
The exhibition coincides with this extraordinary natural event, and as Somerset Crafts is located in the heart of the Somerset Levels, after viewing the artwork visitors can head out for the best spot to watch the amazing display for real.
Everyone will then be welcomed indoors to warm up and enjoy a free hot drink. The centre is open from 10am to 5pm. For full details visit www.somersetcrafts.co.uk or contact info@somersetcrafts.co.uk
