A SPECTACULAR evening is promised as Handel’s Messiah is performed by Bridgwater Choral Society at St Mary’s Church in the town on December 8 at 7.30pm.
Conductor Iain Cooper and an orchestra led by Brigid Kirkland-Wilson will be joined by soprano Jean McElroy, countertenor Jeremy Kenyon, tenor Richard Rowntree and bass singer Philip Tebb.
Tickets costing £12 (reserved) and £8 (unreserved) are available from Bridgwater Book Shop (01278-457565) or on the door while admission for accompanied under-16s is free.
