Episode one of the new BBC One series Tomorrow’s Food showed viewers the fascinating future of our diets.
Presenter Dara O’Briain revealed the cutting-edge technologies and produce slowly appearing in farms, supermarkets, kitchens and restaurants across the world.
Although most people on Twitter found the first programme incredibly interesting…
A lot of viewers were slightly miffed about why the programme didn’t discuss how to prevent climate change, but only how to mask its effects.
And as for the advancements in taste sensations and how our food will be served in the future? Viewers weren’t completely sold on these ideas either.
Hard luck BBC. Here’s hoping the next episode will make viewers feel more positive about the future…
