SHE Drew The Gun are the winners of the 2016 Emerging Talent Competition.

The Merseyside four-piece was picked after the final audition show, held at Pilton Working Men’s Club.

The night saw eight shortlisted acts perform for judges, who included festival organsiers Michael and Emily Eavis, with the winners scooping a slot on one of the festival’s main stages, plus a £5,000 talent development prize from the PRS Foundation.

Second place went to Glasgow’s party-starting R&B pop act Bossy Love, with third place going to London-based folk singer Hattie Whitehead.

Both acts receive a £2,500 Talent Development prize from the PRS Foundation.

While announcing the winners, Michael Eavis also revealed that all eight acts on a night of impressive performances will be given slots at this year’s festival, which runs from June 22 to 26 at Worthy Farm, Pilton.
