Off the back of a successful 2011, which saw Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs break through to become one of the most exciting new artists around, he is currently on his first headline tour of the UK – including a Bristol date on Wednesday (Feb 15).

TEED is Orlando Higginbottom, an Engish eletro producer and DJ, son of Professor Edward Higginbottom, conductor of the choir of New College, University of Oxford.

He previously worked as a music teacher in schools and is currently signed to Polydor, having released three singles - "Household Goods", "Garden" and "Trouble". An album is expected in May.

Higginbottom has also been asked to remix tracks by the likes of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Professor Green.

The tour kick started in Cardiff on February 2, and the 13-date tour will see Orlando and the Dino-Dancers perform across the UK, including a massive London show at Heaven in association with the NME Awards 2012 before bringing it to a close in Brighton on February 18.

"Last year was amazing, being able to travel the world performing and meeting new fans most week's was something that I could never have dreamed of. To now be so close to our first UK headline tour, with the album coming out on Polydor this summer is a really great feeling,” Orlando told the Gazette.

Having already toured Europe and America as well as having a huge number of summer festivals under his belt, the TEED live show is as powerful as it is unique, with many more surprises planned for the upcoming tour. Expect a host of new songs from the forthcoming debut album.
