The Duke Spirit have announced the release of new single ‘Don’t Wait’ on November 21 plus a headline tour for March 2012 after their support dates with White Lies.

They'll be playing the Bristol Fleece on March 5.

'Don’t Wait’ is the second track to be taken from the band’s critically acclaimed album ‘Bruiser’.

The five piece from London - Liela Moss, Toby Butler, Luke Ford, Olly Betts and Marc Sallis - have been touring in support of their new record, including a sell out show at London's Scala and an electrifying album launch show performed in the middle of a professional boxing ring.

’Don’t Wait’ is an incredibly sensual yet tough rock and roll offering from The Duke Spirit, that builds to a feverish climax. Here the band are mixing prowling guitars, witchy percussion, and primal drumming, with the inimitable vocal delivery of Liela Moss. The recording sessions for ‘Bruiser’ were fuelled by the band's rekindled appreciation for evocative space, finding breath within a minimal approach and revealing the shadows in the corners of the songs.

Bruiser is the third album from The Duke Spirit, following on from their much lauded debut 'Cuts Across The Land' and 2008’s 'Neptune'. The Duke Spirit have had a few adventures collaborating with the fashion world also — designers Philip Lim and the late Alexander McQueen called Liela their muse.

The Duke Spirit have also been confirmed as support on White Lies upcoming UK and European tour, which includes a Wembley Arena show on December 17.
