The trade is reflecting those cattle which have been fed. After the recent rain the grass is growing again but cattle will need supplementary feeding to continue growing and avoid “going back”. Last Autumn we were spoilt with grass and so were many cattle, which when sold in September and October having lost all flesh gained in the first half of the year. Please feed cattle for best rewards.
