TICKETS for this year's Bridgwater Carnival concerts can now be booked in advance online.
The shows run from September 29 to October 11, with one fewer date this year to accommodate an extra dress rehearsal.
Tickets will also go on sale on September 5 at Bridgwater Town Hall.
The concerts have been a popular annual feature in the town since 1883, and are now seen as a curtain raiser to the procession in November.
Over 5,000 tickets have been made available for the performances where a cast of over 600 entertainers from 13 carnival clubs, dance troupes and front of curtain acts will entertain the audience.
Dave Stokes, publicity officer for the carnival, said: "Our website has opened up all sorts of opportunities, and the online shop is one way of ensuring that supporters of our carnival from throughout the country can purchase their souvenirs easily.
"Selling carnival tickets online will also help those individuals who are unable to attend ticket sales in the Town Hall due to work, holiday and family commitments."
