The results of Bridgwater Carnival 2007 were revealed just five minutes ago... and as promised, the Mercury is the first to publish the list of winners.
Champions once again were Gremlins CC, whose Vampires cart bagged them a 14th Bridgwater triumph in just 17 years.
Pipped into second spot were the resurgent Griffens CC, tipped by many spectators to challenge for honours this year with their Masquerade cart.
Third place went to Ramblers CC, with Marketeers CC fourth.
Top local tableau was Wills CC with The Kraken awakes, while Newmarket CC bagged yet another comic cup with Dude Looks Like A Lady.
