GOOD news. Since last Saturday Bucks County Museum has decided to make entry to the main museum free. Better still, all adult visitors during September will get the chance to win a luxury hamper that includes wine, chocolate and a Treasury of Roald Dahl Stories.
There is still a charge, however, for the Roald Dahl Children's Gallery. More details from 01296 331441 or you can visit the website ate www.buckscc.gov.uk/museum.

SCOUTING in Great Missenden dates back to 1910 and after a brief lapse following the war, revived in 1928 and has continued ever since. 1st Great Missenden Scout Group is entirely self-financing so they are always glad to receive help from the local community. If you have an odd few hours and would like to work with children, helping to continue Missenden's long Scouting tradition, they would like to hear from you. The Beaver Scouts (six to eight year olds) meet on Tuesdays from 5.30-6.30pm; the Cub Scouts (eight to ten and a half year olds) meet Wednesdays from 6.30-8pm, the Scouts (ten and a half to 15 year olds) gather on Fridays from 7-9.15pm and finally the Venture Scouts (16-20 year olds) meet on alternate Thursdays. All meetings are held in the Scout Hut at the rear of the Misbourne Secondary School in Great Missenden. For further information about helping or joining one of the groups, call Janet Pascoe on 01494 864070.
