RILEY. John Arthur. Passed peacefully away at Musgrove Park Hospital on 1st September 2015, aged 84. The funeral held on 11th September 2015 at The Minster Church of St Mary The Virgin, North Petherton. Sheila, Chris and Kathryn would like to thank the team at Musgrove Park Hospital Stroke Unit for their wonderful care, the Marie Curie support volunteers at Musgrove and Somerset Care Support Team for their thoughtfulness and Alzheimer's Society members for their care of Dad. We also thank the community of North Petherton, Neighbours, Friends, Relatives, Postman Nick, the Wardens and congregation of St Mary's and the Probus for all their support and good wishes, the loyal support from Andy Maxwell and the West Country Blues who attended to Dad so compassionately. Thanks due also to Reverend Jane Haslem, Reverend David Barge and Reverend Martyn Wratten for their delightful thanksgiving service, Organist Andrew Hinkley for his lovely music, Rebecca Saunders for her beautiful singing, Kate Hunt for her delicious food and Mr Alan Waterjohns and Bridgwater Funeral Services for the kindness and professional care taken over John's funeral arrangements. Thanks to all who attended the funeral, sent cards and generous donations for Alzheimers Society. Please accept this as our personal acknowledgement. John will be greatly missed but always in our hearts and loved always.
