DONALDSON. Roy Trevor OBE. Mayor of Bridgwater twice, Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council twice, Vice Chairman of Somerset County Council, member of the above Councils for over 40 years. President and member of many Charities and Committees in Bridgwater, died peacefully on 14th October 2014, aged 93 years at Sceats Care Home, Gloucester. Re-united with his beloved Margaret, Father of Jane, Father-in-law to Steve, Grandfather to Ian, Mark, Simon and Paul, Grandfather-in-law to Chiara, Claire and Sandy, Great Grandfather to Sam, Ruari, Joe, Kieran, Lucy, Finlay and Kyla. A Celebration of his life and funeral will be held at St Mary's Church, Bridgwater on Wednesday 29th October 2014 at 12noon. The family have requested an item of Blue clothing to be worn. Private interment for family and close friends at St George's Church, Wembdon. Family flowers only. Donations if wished in aid Sceats Care Home, who have looked after him so well for the last 12 months, may be left at the church or forwarded to Bridgwater Funeral Services, 15 Bristol Road, Bridg-water, Somerset, TA6 4AU.
